Another busy week for the RBA family! From our youngest athletes learning the game to our high school players starting their seasons, we continue to see growth, effort, and development across the organization.

Record:  5-1

Tournament/Game Summary:

RBA 8U put together its best weekend of the season, finishing 5-1 and continuing to show the development we’ve been building all year. The boys came up just short in the championship game, earning another 2nd place finish with their only loss of the weekend coming in the title game.

The offense was rolling all weekend, scoring 84 runs while posting a .641 team batting average over six games.

⭐ L. Shelton: .850 AVG (17-for-20) L. Shelton: 5 Doubles 1 triple 2 Home Runs 12 RBIs

⭐ K. Nachreiner: .850 AVG (17-for-20) 2 Doubles 2 Home Runs 13 RBIs

• 9u group goes 3-1 a productive weekend falls just short losing 10-9 in the championship.

• 16u Licon group competes well at their first tourney of the year. A disappointing championship game leads to a 2nd place finish. High hopes for this group as the season progresses, keep it up!

⭐ Slater (8) and Leming (5) provide some juice in the lineup racking up 13 RBIs over the 5 games.

• 15u group debuts their high school schedule with the always tough CSA tournament in Kenosha, WI. This was a wood bat tournament, 15u group competed but fell short to escape with a victory. They will look to bounce back @ NIU this coming weekend.

• 16u Howell group ends their first weekend winless at the Cobras for a Cause tournament in McHenry, IL. The offense could not find its footing, but we did have some solid performances.
