A solid weekend of baseball. It was HOT and our boys persevered to compete, some teams playing 6 games! Another competitive weekend with results we love to brag about.

Recap: 11u group stays hot winning back to back tournaments. Highlighted by a 8-1 comeback in the semifinals. Great work, Lockhart with 2 HRs, and Buhl with an impressive 17 Ks over 6.2 IP. Full stats below:

Recap: A solid weekend for the 13u this weekend. This group got to compete against a team from Brazil, which resulted in a disappointing (but thrilling) 11-12 8 inning loss. A great experience for this group with some solid baseball played.

Recap: 17u had an exciting weekend in Nashville at this Perfect Game event. unfortuantely they did not make the championship bracket. Weather interrupted their consolation game and they were not able to get their last game in. A solid weekend and great experience.

Weekend Record: 3-2-1

Tournament/Event: Tournament of Champions - Lake Geneva, WI

Recap: The 12u Setter group wrapped up the season with a strong showing at the Tournament of Champions, finishing 3-2-1.

Offensively, led by:

• Schoenemann: 8 hits

• Fjelland: 7 hits, 2B, HR

• Ruffner: 7 hits, 2 2B

On the mound, Davis turned in two outstanding performances to lead the pitching staff.

We faced a talented Northwoods team in the semifinals and got off to a hot start thanks to Fjelland's early home run (video). Davis kept the game close through three innings, coming up with clutch, inning-ending strikeouts in both the 2nd and 3rd. Northwoods' power offense broke through in the 4th, bringing an end to a great season for this group of players.

Proud of the effort, growth, and resilience this team showed all season. Great work, boys!
