📈 RBA Rising : Highschool Spotlights

This week, Rockford Baseball Academy is showcasing some of our high school performances.

• Andrew Self put together a huge week for North Boone, going 6-for-11 (.545) with 5 runs, 2 RBI, 2 doubles, 1 home run, 1 walk, and 3 stolen bases over three games. He also homered opening weekend in Jacksonville, IL. (Video Below)

  
  
  

• Rhyder Jewell had a strong week for North Boone. He earned 2 wins on the mound against 2 NIC-10 schools, Belvidere and Belvidere North, and totaled 8 strikeouts across those outings. At the plate for the week, he went 4-for-10 (.400) with 6 runs scored, 1 RBI, 2 doubles, 3 stolen bases.

• Monday 3/23: Matthew Schwartz collects 3 hits leading the Boylan JV to victory over Harlem 8-5.

• Friday 3/27: Noah McDermott propels the Boylan Varsity team to victory over Lutheran with a mammoth 3 run home run (Video Below)

  

• Saturday 3/28: Carssen Leming with a multi-HR game against Rockford Christian JV: 1 grand slam, 1 solo shot. Grand slam video below.

  

• Freshman Evan Ricks in 2 games : 5.2 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3H, 3K's, 1 Win and 1 Hold

[RBA 12u starts their season in Bettendorf, IA. A tough schedule tests this group early. Finding out where they stand and pushing to become better on a daily basis remain the focus. 12u Jass competes in tournament play again in Bourbonnais,IL at the "Road to the Pros" 4/24-4/26]
