📰 RBA Weekly Update📅 Week of: [March 29 - April 5]
Rain causes cancellation of our scheduled tournaments this weekend, but we still have RBA updates to share below!!
🎓 RBA Alumni Highlights
Celebrating former RBA players continuing to shine!
[Joey Appino]
College: Carroll University
Joey has put together a great career at Carroll. We want to highlight his most recent achievement: All time leader in doubles with 36. Way to go Joe!
Take a look at the below clip.. 2 RBA alum's going at it.. RBA alum and Belv. North graduate Eli Johnson of North Park University laces a ball deep to right center, only to be robbed of extra bases by another RBA alum - Joey Appino!
🏫 High School Player Updates
Tracking our current RBA players competing at the high school level:
[Liam Allen] – [RBA 17u - Hissong]
Liam put together a 4-4 game this week including HR (video below). Cant have a much better game than this, way to work Liam!
[Noah McDermott] – [RBA 17u - Hissong]
Noah stays hot with another HR against a tough Fremd HS squad. He was able to keep the barrel on an off-speed pitch for a pull side HR. Below is the full AB from Noah, a great at bat rewarded with a 2 run shot. Keep it up
[Rhyder Jewell] – [RBA 16u - Licon]
In North Boone's only game this past week, Jewell went 3-4 against Johnsburg including the nice single video below. Rhyder recorded 3 of these hits against Carthage College commit Ashton Stern. Way to work!
[Austin Berringer] – [RBA 16u - Howell]
Austin put together a solid week hitting .500 over 4 games. GC highlights pictured. Nice work!
